Weddington High school’s 25-26 yearbook is on sale now, and it is purchasable on Jostens.com, the deadline for the discount was February 14th. The current full price is $90. The Yearbook has additional features for personalization, and had many chances for students’ pictures to be featured in its sections.
The Yearbook is available on Jostens for $95, along with the option to donate one, with additional features available. The lifetime protection plan, for $8.99, lets students purchase a replacement for a reduced price.
The accessories offer unique ways for students to customize their yearbooks. The nameplate is customizable with two icons, a name, and it costs $15, available in gold and platinum. Similarly, the monogram, also available in gold and platinum, with the same price of $15, lets students place their first, middle, and last initial in a monogram format.
The signing markers of the Sharpie brand includes a 5-pack of retractable pens, with two black colors, one red, one green, and one blue.
Along with features, many photos of sports teams, clubs, holiday photos, and spirit week pictures will be posted in the WHS yearbook. The monthly questionnaires gave chances for students to answer questions and upload pictures.
Club photos, taken on February 10th, 2026, will be posted, along with all Weddington sports teams, so students should look out to see themselves in these photos. Spirit week photos are also published in the yearbook, as the yearbook committee went to click pictures of anyone wearing spirit wear.
One major change in this year’s yearbook is that seniors won’t have senior quotes. Ms. Waldrup, the head of the Yearbook Committee said, “UCPS just told us we could not include senior quotes in the yearbook.” The reason for this was a controversial senior’s quote at Marvin High last year.
Alexa Vaca, a sophomore, said, “I like going to the library and looking at the yearbooks, because I like the images and the quotes.”
Aside from this, for students to see their photos, students could upload their own pictures by creating a Jostens tag account, where they could include personal photos for a chance to be in the yearbook.
Yearbook signing and the grand reveal of the yearbook cover, will occur in May or June.
