Class registration for next school year is on its way! Are you prepared?
Students started meeting with their counselors on Tuesday, February 17th. They brought their academic planning cards to complete their registration for next year.

Times were assigned for students to meet with their counselors based on their 2nd block class. The process of meeting with every student is still going on, and is expected to take over three weeks.
The online system is also expected to lock on March 9th, according to a slideshow provided on the canvas page.
What do you need to have ready?
Students should have their academic planning cards filled out. These were provided during advisory week, and they list the classes required for graduation as well as many of the electives offered at Weddington.
Another important resource is the academic planner on Infinite Campus, which has been fixed for all grade levels as of February 19th.
Don’t know what to do?
The school-wide Canvas page is the place to look for instructions. On the home page, scroll down and click on this image:

This leads to a page with two links that each go to a different slideshow. The slideshows provide directions for selecting classes and provide graduation requirements.
We asked Mrs. Seeley, one of the counselors, what she thought about the registration process this year. “With registration, I haven’t found anything too difficult.” She says. “I love how it’s going smoothly with the kids able to have input already.”
We also asked if she would change anything if given the chance. “As of right now, not really.”
So far, registration for next year seems to be going well. Don’t forget to have everything ready so that you can be registered for 2026-2027 at Weddington.
