While many consider the holiday season to be the “most wonderful time of the year,” college football fans just might beg to differ. Below is not only the ultimate viewing guide to the opening weekend of college football, but also a look at standout games for local college football programs around the North and South Carolina area. These are match-ups that will make for great opportunities to catch plenty of college football action without straying too far from home.
